"Dancing Garden" showcases Ms. Shim's exploration of human existence within nature. Each floor of the gallery presents a different theme: the Flower-Rain Garden, the Soil Garden, the Water Garden, and the Sky Garden. These installations incorporate various elements like interactive art, shadow play, and multimedia to evoke feelings of hope, historical context, tranquility, and love.
Before initiating the project, we encountered challenges such as fitting the installation within the gallery's spatial limits, ensuring thematic consistency across different floors, and merging technical elements with the artistic concept.
During the installation of Optoma products, the lack of 4-corner correction support made it challenging to adjust the visual output. Aside from that, there were no significant issues with network functionalities and installation ease.
Optoma’s reputation for high-quality, reliable multimedia equipment suitable for art installations of this magnitude and complexity was the primary factor in our decision. Specifically, the EH412ST was chosen for its optimal performance within the focal distance required by the artist.
The Optoma EH412ST proved ideal for its high-quality display, ease of installation, reliability, and suitability for projecting artwork in a gallery setting. These features precisely rendered the intricate details of Shim’s work.
The Optoma EH412ST enhanced the visual experience of “Dancing Garden,” meeting expectations in terms of clarity, color accuracy, and overall immersive effect.
Feedback from clients highlighted satisfaction with the improved visual quality provided by Optoma, the immersive experience created by the projector, and the seamless integration of the technology with the artwork.
