To support Optoma’s commitment to sustainability, the AZH500 cuts power consumption by up to 45% compared to Optoma’s lamp-based projectors.² Energy-saving DuraCore laser technology ensures a long product lifespan of up to 30,000 hours without the need for additional lamps, requires minimal maintenance, and is mercury-free, further lowering its carbon footprint.

An added benefit, the AZH500 features an external power supply offering more reliability, portability and energy efficiency.

Designed with the environment in mind, the eco-friendly chassis design is made with up to 50% PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastics and the packaging contains up to 97% recyclable materials.³ In addition, the compact product and packaging size of the Optoma AZH500 projector allows 2x more products carried per container, resulting in more efficient logistics to help further reduce carbon emissions.¹

Geared for conference rooms, boardrooms, and other corporate spaces, the AZH500 features a 1.3x zoom for a flexible setup. For ultimate convenience it comes with an RS232 connection for monitoring and controlling and a built-in speaker.

Device Control by HDMI CEC Link

When you connect HDMI CEC-compatible devices to the projector with HDMI cables, you can control them on the same power on or power off status using the HDMI Link feature. This lets one device or multiple devices in a group power on/off simultaneously.

Compact and Reliable

Designed with simplicity in mind, Optoma dedicates to minimizing the product size and optimizing the component to be compact yet reliable enough for daily use.

Replace the thermal module with the heatsink.
The latest phosphor wheel is optimized from 54mm to 47mm compared to the previous-gen.
Remove the LVPS and replace it with an power adapter, which is easily to be repaired and replaced.

According to UK Plastics Pack 2022, it takes 75% less energy to make a plastic bottle from recycled plastic than virgin materials. Our product design team works closely with suppliers to identify environmentally friendly recycled materials that minimize waste that would otherwise go into landfills and reduce the use of virgin plastics. Optoma is committed to producing SSI-based projectors that are made with 50 % post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics.

Moreover, Optoma complies with WEEE, RoHS, and REACH regulations that restrict the use of hazardous substances during production, which helps protect landfills from permanent contamination.

Sustainable Packaging

Optimized packaging made with more recycled and reusable materials

Optoma brings sustainability to the consumer unboxing experience. Our choice of materials ensures that our packaging can be easily recycled and reused to start another packaging journey.

Our outer carton boxes are made from up to 85% recycled material, and we have replaced EPE foam cushioning with recycled paper and paper mold materials without compromising the durability of the packaging！

Four corner correction

Adjust the keystone in both the vertical and horizontal plane. You can individually warp each corner of the image to create a perfectly square image. Ideal for uneven walls or where projector placement is awkward and needs to be installed at an angle.

Portrait projection

Ideal for digital signage applications you can rotate your projector 90 degrees to project a portrait image.

1.3x Zoom Range

A large zoom range enables multiple placement possibilities at a variety of distances from the projection screen.

An advantage to this is that expensive interchangeable lens projectors can be substituted with a more cost effective solution whilst still retaining a diverse choice of positioning options.

Quick start-up and shutdown

This projector features quick start-up and shutdown and reaches full brightness quickly. To maximise energy saving it also includes a ‘pause projection’ feature where the light source can be completely shut off. Unlike conventional lamp based projectors, the laser- light source requires minimal cool-down time.
